Gerard is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. Gerard specialises in all aspects of construction, engineering and mining-related court litigation, adjudication, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution procedures. He is an associate member of the Association of Arbitrators of Southern Africa.
Gerard represents and advises numerous national and international clients in the building, construction, mining, engineering, petrochemical, oil and gas spheres and has a proven track record of achieving favourable outcomes for clients.
Gerard has extensive knowledge and expertise with regard to various aspects related to contractual claims, disputes and matters related to construction agreements such as NEC, JBCC, GCC, FIDIC including bespoke agreements.
